Hello all. I just felt like posting some art work today. So I dug these up. I did these as an exercise last winter and I was very happy with the result. Here's how you do it: draw as many panels as will fit on one page and then fill them up with anything. And don't stop until you are done. The End.

Optical Sloth Review!

Kevin Bramer of Optical Sloth has reviewed The Deformitory and here it is! for his site. The more reviews I get the more I realize that there are two schools of folk: people who dig the Heart Monster being included and those who find it superfluous. Kevin seems to dig him. Awesome.

Time Out New York Piece

Hello hello my gentle readers.
I am featured in Time out New York's East Village issue this week which is pretty exciting. I love it when my comics are in issues I'm most interested in (eg, The Free Issue, the East Village issue etc). My brother called this photo-finish the "most disturbing yet" and that, I believe, is a very good thing. Pick up a copy and/or check it out HERE!

I am pleased to share another review. Don MacPherson has read and written about The Deformitory on his wonderful site Eye on Comics. I have to admit this one makes me especially happy because Don has has been particularly sensitive to what I attempted to communicate in my comic.

Sequential Tart Review!

Sheena McNeil of Sequential Tart has been kind enough to review my book as well. Click here to read it!
She responded very well to my Heart Monster which I am happy about because he's not going anywhere any time soon. She is the latest of many people to feel the the ending is abrupt or sudden and left feeling as if there is more which I find interesting. Sometimes I wonder myself if I should continue winding the thread that is the Deformitory. For now I think not, but its an idea that has occurred to me before. More soon.
